Good Evening to all Fellow Roxyologists and Ferryistas! It's Lori. I have been Off-Line for A while due to circumstances beyond My control ( Finances. ) I am now back! I do want to share some of My thoughts to the above reply/response/answer by Lonely Dreamer I believe. To schedule A 10 Show/Concert Tour in 15 Dates of One Country I.E. Germany is pushing Bryan much too hard. In fact the suicide pace of 100 Concerts per Year schedule is not sustainable. Maybe it is for Musicians that are significantly younger by a couple of Decades, but not for One of Bryan's Age. There HAS to be realistic and sensible " Space Between " as it were put between Concerts. This is only logical as His Age cannot keep up with His current Tour Itineraries. He is being pushed beyond what is reasonable from A Human aspect. Yes putting significantly more time between Concerts would drive Up Touring costs, however it is the INTELLIGENT thing to do. Work with it. Perhaps he can keep his current 100 Concert per Year Schedule, however he has to do it over a much longer sustained Period of Time like schedule only 2-3 Concerts per Week during A Tour of any specific Country He may be doing at any given time. This will allow for much more sufficient recovery and rest time. We all know how excessively ambitious and driven He is and how dedicated to His Craft as a Artist He is. However He is either pushing Him Self to the brink, or His Management Team is. I know that Touring is now A Musicians main source of Income, not Radio Air-Play or Album Sales ( I wish that aspect of the Profession has not changed. ) This forces Musicians to almost D near KILL Them Selves for a Income derived from A unsustainable Touring Schedule. Bryan will be a 70 YEAR OLD Musician nest Year. He cannot possibly realistically sustain A Schedule meant for 20-55 Year Old's roughly. If Bryan needs the MONEY that Bad then I ask Him, No I BEG of Him to PLEASE conduct a extensive and comprehensive Tour of The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Where He performs in ALL Major Primary Markets all across the Country! My Own! Maybe throw in a few Secondary and Tertiary Markets in between. Perform in all Continental 48 States! By all means perform at Home in the U.K. as much as possible. However He so neglects His smaller nicheyer Yankee Fans. Sincerely Yours with all My Good intentions, Lori. P.S. Mister Windswept, pleas check Your Mail-BoxHere. I sent Youe A PM.

Where/how did you hear that Bielefeld is cancelled, Uwe? There was nothing on BF's Twitter or Facebook feeds when I looked, nor on his website. That would seem to suggest that Friday's appearance on Swedish TV and the weekend's two shows in Germany may not happen either...

Maybe BF and his management are trying to stabilize his throat by cancelling concerts in 'less important' cities like Bielefeld and concentrate his remaining physical power on big cities like Hamburg or Munich? I hope he won't cancel Stuttgart ... Good luck to everybody who has got tickets for the German leg of BF's tour - Smudge, RoxySiren, Lonely Dreamer, StephenPep, Uwe etc ... .

Thanks Pianoman, very thoughtful...
Dear Uwe, in your case lightening does strike twice, first Leipzig now Bielefeld. I am really sorry. Let's hope he does play in Hannover.... If the concerts are cancelled, even that in Hamburg, let's hope they are all re-scheduled including Bielefeld....

Really sorry for you Uwe I was in Düsseldorf in vain last Monday, heard the news before the entrance at 19.30 u. Well at least we had a good day after in town and drank a glühwein on Bryan's health! I cross my fingers for all the rest: I hope you will be able to see Bryan! Amsterdam was great! I will be crossing my fingers for Brussel

Smudge wrote: i f munich is cancelled (or going to be), i'd like to know now so i can cancel my trip/hotel/flightYou must be travelling with a proper airline, Roxysiren; I don't think Easyjet would give me a refund! Wednesday's Berlin gig is unusual in being cancelled in advance; most of the others have bitten the dust at less than 24 hours notice... On the plus side, Munich is a fortnight away, so plenty of time for a full recovery. What worries me is that BF is scheduled to perform on three successive nights (4th to 6th), with only one night off before Munich (8th); I think two nights on, then one night off would have been a wiser move. Fingers crossed... Unbeknown to most, when you are a super super frequent easyjet flyer you get special perks you gotta fly twice a week with them to quality....and I do. They include being able to change your flights without penalty. I didn't know you were going to amsterdam. That's where I'm living weekdays now...I didn't have tickets but we missed a catch up opportunity! Never mind.

Î'm afraid that Ferry troat problems are continuous. I have listened to his last album many times this week and on some tracks like soldier of fortune, it seems obvious. If my feeling is good, and I really hope it is not, it would be very sad for such an artist !
