One assumes that Bryan has perhaps thrown a press blackout regarding Merlin. Understandable really.
Best wishes to them all.

Absolutely. The last thing anybody wants at a time like this is the press sniffing around.
Hopefully all is progressing in a positive direction. We do have some marvellous trauma surgeons in the UK and one can only pray for a full recovery. Some days have passed since the accident and the first 48 hours are usually the most critical so we can only continue to wish for the absolute best.

An update about Merlin from Bryan Ferry.com:-

On behalf of BF and the family, many thanks for all the kind messages of support for Merlin following his road accident before Christmas.

Merlin has undergone a series of operations and is now stable in hospital, with a long period of recovery ahead of him.

A huge thank you to the amazing emergency services provided by the Wellington Fire Service and West Midland Ambulance Service, together with the superb care and attention from all the medical staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

Wishing Merlin and the family all the best and a continuing recovery. :)

Absolutely. It must have been a traumatic time for the Ferry family and a long road ahead but pleased to hear positive news. All good wishes to you and the family Bryan.

This is doubtless a huge relief and hopefully Merlin will make a full recovery.
A salient reminder of how everything can change in a heartbeat.
My thoughts are with Bryan and the family.

It's great to hear positive news about Merlin, I'm so glad he is on the mend from what must have been an horrific experience for Bryan and his family.

sending best wishes for his continued recovery!

More importantly (for Merlin anyway... ;) ) there is a Christmas to catch up with. I hope they spoil him rotten! x
