Sadly not even BF/Roxy can rescue these sartorial-challenged coverings. Maybe it's the (unofficial) design, but I can't help thinking I'd look an even bigger prat than normal whatever Roxy-theme covering adorned my face.

Cher Monsieur Windswept, although it seems that by wearing a face mask with a Roxy cover girl or Bryan on it you must be the King of Corona , I am reluctant to buy such an accessoire.

Why? Because the pandemic crisis is something that I don't want to be linked to my musical hero(es). Roxy on an umbrella, Ferry on a shirt - no problem because I own a lot of these paraphernalia . But Roxy on a mask reminds me of this regrettable situation we're all in. Très negative - and nothing for my face.

You could say that Germans have a general problem with humour - but in this respect it's not the case. If it's a question of humour I'd rather watch a Monty Python film .

I think it's a bit of a myth about Germans lacking a sense of humour or it certainly is in my experience. I had a German manager during the 90s and she had a good sense of humour, as did her boss, who was also German. Then we have Jurgen Klopp - very funny man. My manager also enjoyed the film "Dinner for One", which I think she said was shown every Xmas in Germany.

Hi Roger,

you are one of very few Britains who have ever heard of Dinner For One !!! It's shown every New Year's Eve in Germany, Austria + Switzerland since 1964. As for me I don't accept party invitations unless I cannot see this 20 minute sketch there . And each year you think 'no I won't laugh again this time' - rubbish .

Other than getting plenty of guitar practice at the moment' I'm also doing a lot of reading, quite a lot of it about Roxy or Roxy related. So far I've read Guy Pratt's book, a book about Eno and also one about Chris spedding. The Kindle versions are available from Amazon for just a couple of pounds each! Oh and we have football back now too
