Interesting indeed. I thought Bryan was never going to shut up! Seriously though, either they got him on a very good day, he responded well to their easy manner or both, because talking for very nearly 2 hours non-stop (no musical interludes) is quite something for anyone, but seems extraordinary for BF. Very entertaining.

I did chuckle at the preamble to the 'A or B' game - chiefly at the need to answer "quickly" and BF's question about why they do it. Interesting too, to hear his answers - not always what you expect as you play along trying to second guess him.

BF was definitely both on good form and a good sport throughout.

I interpret the interview to mean that an album will be released next year.

Unfortunately not two.

I read here in the forum that one album has already been produced and one that is almost finished.

Pity.

I think the announced album will certainly be the recordings with Amelia Baratt....

Yes, unfortunately not two. The Rolling Stone interview made me ponder. How much of the same ol´ is it possible to get away with? A tiny bit of something new at the end of the interview. This ain´t even a teaser.

A taste of the new album
The retrospective ends with a look ahead to the future. The electronic number "Star" with Scottish artist Amelia Barratt is Ferry's first new song in about ten years. A taste of his new album. "To show that I'm still working," says Bryan Ferry and laughs. "It feels like a completely new chapter."
It's unclear whether Bryan Ferry, who was on an anniversary tour with Roxy Music two years ago, will return to the stage. "Let's see how things develop. Touring is hard work," he says. "But it's nice to see your audience from time to time. They're people who like what I do. That's a wonderful thing."
