It's not you Gary. I suspect that they went up originally to be timed to coincide with the Radio 4 interview on the "Today" programme, but when that got put back first to Friday and now (?) to Monday it was too much like jumping the gun to put up the details. I imagine John will confirm.

What I saw of it before it was pulled rather flummoxed me. I will give it the benefit of the doubt but I couldn't quite see the point of it. I suppose other people have done similar - Peter Gabriel with the New Blood Orchestra, for instance. Another artist with a severe case of writer's block, especially when it comes to finishing lyrics. I would have rather had some new material, and suspect that with hindsight we may look back on this and file it under "Interesting but hardly essential".

Thanks for that.

Yes, well! I think I am of the opinion that I will wait to see what the others say about it before I buy, although I admit the topic and the fact that it is an instrumental doesn't fill me with enthusiasm. I think the only instrumental record I own is Andy's Revolving Contradictions. I couldn't hack that one but with the more familiar tunes that Bryan is doing you never know.
