Thanks, Roxy! BF's just a bit earlier in the programme, at 1 hr 22 mins, I think. Funny, I bought the deluxe version of Emeli Sande's album, but can't get into it. Would happily swap it for something interesting by the guy who presented her award...

A little stylish faux pas with the microphone, but I don't think anyone noticed.

Nice suit.
Emily is quite charming always, and I do like her stuff...and really liked her performances at the Olympic ceremonies...OT: IMO big shame that Ill Manors didn't get it though...love that guy, a major talent, saw him last week in Brighton. Seriously good show.

BF doesn't look so good in this photo IMHO. Party-time wasting in his early years is catching up with him. Not as bad as Bowie looks in his most recent video, but not great...

You're a hard man to impress, DCJ! The last time I saw BF in person, briefly on the day of the TJA launch, he was looking pretty damn spruce at 67, even in the infamous quilted parka. I'm a mere lad of 52, but I'm glad there were no cameras near us, just in case the papers might think he was supervising an elderly relative!

I'm glad to hear you thought he looked good in person a couple of months ago. I just think this photo doesn't make him look so good.

Fellow Dilettantes, I don't know what our hero takes but, for a 67 year old hipster that has doubtless made his contribution to the national crops of Virginia and other places, I think he looks bloody remarkable. Perhaps Anderson & Sheppard are also selling bespoke youth pills? Mrs.Windswept refers to him as music's Gregory Peck and for a man of his vintage, the only other icon that comes close to his elegance is Charlie Watts. As for the rest of the Stones you could dress them up in onesies and they wouldn't look more ridiculous. Maturing with style and looking cool at the same time is an advanced art. Happily, Geordie's favourite son is an advanced practitioner! Regards, Windswept.

Is it not about time Bryan and Roxy's contribution to British music was recognised by these awards.
