It's always good news when TGPT gets to play with BF or Roxy!

That said, I think that Luke Bullen was/is a drummer who did a good job playing his role in the BF band during the past two tours. On the BF Live 2015 cd he lays down a solid but not too heavy beat that works well with the (now) softer sound of BF's voice I must admit that LB's take on Out of the Blue is perhaps too soft, but aside from that he provided a nice drum sound for what is a VERY listenable CD.

Getting back to TGPT, it's interesting that both he and Spedding are signed up for the 2017 tour. Perhaps In Your Mind will make it back into the set list after 40 years!!! Remember when it seemed impossible that Beauty Queen would ever be revived? And BQ is definitely one of the highlights on the 2105 Live cd!!!

With Chris Spedding on tour, I think it would be cool if they did Gun Shaft City.

I got to thinking, with TGPT back in the band for the 2017 Tour this might be a sign/indication that the 1974 RAH concert cd might be released sometime in the near future.

TGPT was of course the drummer for BF at RAH (as he was for all BF solo albums through IYM) and his return to the BF band could be used to in promoting the RAH concert cd.

Yes, this is mere supposition on my part and any attempt to determine what BF might do is always fraught with peril! But it's not inconceivable...

I don't think Spedding will be viewed as so essential to the tour that BF would plug/promote someone else's album!

Mind you, Jorja was allowed to sell her EP length debut CD on BF's merch stand at the Benelux gigs in the autumn (she usually did a post-gig signing there too), so never say never...

I am thrilled to hear that TGPT and Chris Spedding will be in the lineup. I too have always felt that BF should include a Spedding song when they are together. He has been a great backup to PM and/or whoever BF has on lead when solo. Spedding has MANY GREAT songs of his own and it's not like BF does not do covers.
Or if not a Spedding song, even Love Me Madly Again, which I believe featured Spedding many moons ago.

Spedding cd's were sold on either the frantic or Dylanesque tours.
