I see from JO'B's posting on the main page that this is to be an instrumental album. That is interesting and it renders moot any questions regarding the character of BF's mature voice.

I must admit that the idea of an all instrumental CD is intriguing. If the arrangements aren't too cloying (which I find is often an attribute of modern renditions of 20s jazz) it could be quite enjoyable.

If Bryan isn't going to be singing.....

I wonder if he will be giving it a bit of this on stage instead...haha

I'm learning these moves as I speak...don't want to get caught short if he brings the show to town.

And while I'm here, I'm still waiting for this rock n roll album he mentioned way back. A flame still burns brightly for that one.

:)

Hipsters,
I can manage most of this stuff but I draw the line at going out on the plane wing - I'll leave that to Mrs.Windswept.
I can't wait to see who our hero has in his orchestra. I do hope that it features the troubadours from the ATGB tour. They were simply brilliant.
Doubtless Colin Good will have played a significant role in all of this. He's such a great pianist and arranger and has a huge affinity with jazz.
Can't wait to hear the album.
Regards, Windswept
