It seems the audience (which was a bit thin on the ground) were more passing fans of thr hits than major players in Bryan fandom.

Hmm, I wonder which audience the band would prefer to play for ;)

TGPT has indeed confirmed his on-going involvement with BF in a message on his Forum. Here's what he said:

"Looks like I will be doing the US leg of the BF tour !"

Good for him.

Remember though that the original Olympia tour was to be finished by now and recent dates are re-scheduled from April due to Ferry's illness. The USA tour wasn't announced until June so maybe Andy was booked out elswhere for this period, (Just an educated guess not inside info)

I feel sorry for him when he's performing in front of non die-hard fans ie 'a bunch of corporate stiffs' and they are all sitting down expressionless. Feel like shouting 'Fire' I love the atmosphere when folk are woo-hooing. etc... Think that's why Bryan has certain fav locations for performing, where he knows the audience are renown for their receptiveness.

You are right JO'B, the original tour was to have been concluded by now, and the US leg was not announced until summer came along. So maybe Andy N was never going to do the US leg because of prior commitments.

Perhaps even more interesting is how recent gigs have featured only one drummer. It will interesting to see if that mode continues in the US.

I'm here in Philly and BF is not making any local appearance; heretofore I hadn't planned to make a trek to some other East Coast venue but with TGPT now in the band I'll have to further scrutinize the possibilities... Unfortunately the Philly theatre that would have been perfect for a BF concert is the same one that he abruptly canceled his Frantic tour gig at back in 2003. So Philly got skipped this time around. I didn't really care before, but now that TGPT is in the band I'm wishing that Philly was on the gig schedule. Sigh. So it goes...
