The Musikladen DVD has the two extra tracks (as featured here on VRM):-

It definitely exists. I've got it on video off a TV show. But with no DJ introductions,so I don't know where it was shown. I was told it was all from Musikladen. Eight Miles High is from the same performance as Over You.(White shirt and Guitar) Same Old Scene is from the same performance as Oh Yeah. (Army Shirt) All in the same studio as well. Perhaps John O'Brien can confirm when and where it was shown.

Eight songs from the 1980-06-02 Palais des Sports de Paris show were broadcast the following week on the French Antenne2 TV station. There are audio rips of the TV broadcast doing the rounds, as well as the video footage, but I'm not aware of the full show circulating in broadcast quality, in either format.

I have an old video with the four tracks, over you/eight miles high,oh yeah and the same old scene with complete versions of the first three tracks (over you and oh yeah being edited on the musikladen dvd) with Ferry playing (?) guitar on the first two tracks and wearing a short sleeved shirt and a long sleeved shirt similar to the one he wore on the summer f&b dates. Paul Thompson is on all the tracks. At the time there were rumours of one of the members of Roxy having left and when Roxy appeared on top of the pops performing over you Andy Mackay was missing (though later confirmed to be on a cruise somewhere, strange timing).

Yes 'Same Old Scene' and 'Eight Miles High' are definitely part of the Musikladen, It's the same setting and all the band members are wearing exactly the same clothes on these two as they are on 'OH Yeah' and 'Over You' apart from BF who Is wearing a short sleeved polo type T-shirt then a long sleeved one. I have them on dvd but don't know how to upload a dvd or else I would.

I heard a rumour about a row between Ferry and Mackay over the royalties relating to Angel Eyes when it came out as a single in 1979. So it did look like Andy had left when Roxy performed Over You on TOTP in 1980 without him but with Paul Thompson. When Flesh + Blood was released, there was no sign of Thompson anywhere, but Mackay was back! Then I heard that Thompson was going to be on Drums for the forthcoming tour, but then broke his hand ( conveniently ?) so he couldn't do the tour after all!! Then he appeared on the Musikladen videos.! Then I heard that his replacement (Andy Newmark) was getting more than Mackay and Manzanera for the tour ! Which caused even more problems as he wasn't even in Roxy !!! The official tour poster had Thompson in the band again but no sign of Newmark ! In addition, the recording costs and the cost of hiring numerous session musicians for F+B and Avalon was shared out evenly even though the profits from each album were not! Conspiracy theories ? JFK,Marilyn Monroe,9/11,Sadam and Roxy !!

The problem between Ferry and Mackay over angel eyes wasn't strictly speaking between them but the fact that Mackay had left eg after the break in 1976 and signed with Heath Levy (i think) who were his music publisher at the time and this led to a mix-up over payments of royalties, I think it did nearly get to court though if I remember rightly (I've got the melody maker article regarding this somewhere). I wonder if this is one of the reasons for Mackay's lack of song writing input on the last three albums.

J O'B do you have any info on the Eight Miles High and Same Old Scene videos which I'm fairly sure came from Misikladen. And what about the Paris 1980 show ?
