I just don't want WS2's heart to be broken. Would be nice if those other tracks were made available. Probably were technical issues. Cher AzArtist, Thanks for your concern. W2 thinks of Arizona often when he plays those magnificent Tolwood tapes. You may well be right about the tour but with the release of the ‘74 live album together with the promise of ‘spectaculars’ at TRAH give the whole thing a distinctly serendipitous feel. Is this the circle being closed ? That said, nothing will be taken for granted and prayers to Penshaw Monument will continue at a pace. Windswept won’t give up until he hears “People say I’m the life of the party ‘cause I tell a joke or two .....” Salutations, Windswept.

I had pretty much given up hope on this ever seeing the light of day, but evidently BF still has a few surprises up his sleeve!!!
If this can reach the general audio quality of VIVA! it will be an intriguing (and welcome!) addition to the BF catalog.
I look forward to February!!!

DCJ Cher DCJ, I know, it’s fantastic. Just when you think the well is dry he comes up with something completely incredible. Surely one of the most storied careers in music ? Regarding the audio quality, my money will be on his normal high standard. The Studiio One team must be a huge asset when it comes to mastering recordings. Way back in ‘74, I was completely blown away by the quality of the musicianship. It’s worth remembering that by the time he appeared under his own name, he already had seven years experience playing live and it showed. I can’t wait for February. Salutations, W2

There will also be a double vinyl release too.
Unless the live tracks are significantly longer than the studio versions, I think the vinyl will be a single platter, rather than a double. The £22.99 Amazon price tag suggests one disc too and I can't see a second one in the photos...

I respect Smudge’s insight on these matters but surely the length of the material being put out is longer than the 35-40 minutes that a single LP comfortably provides.? Maybe it’s to be a 3 sided album , but indeed, no second disc on the promo pictures. Puzzling.

I was at a meeting in Studio 1 today and I can confirm that the Royal Albert Hall vinyl is a single LP.

The new super deluxe package being offered now on the BF store reminds me of The Who's original Live At Leeds album. But you got all that stuff back then for the price of the album.

We got our tickets for Bryan in July 2020 (Salem/Germany). Of course we are looking forward to this event. But the live album - what shall I say ... I'll buy it, but it is a live recording from 1974. No new material - since 2014. My favourite song from this period (Funny How Time Slips Away) slipped out of the track list - what a pity . So I am still hopeful that FYP Deluxe will see the light of day some day . But that's the wrong thread for these things ...

If you google, you`ll see that various sites are bringing this piece of news in the most delicate manner. How you then feel, depends on yer attitude...
