I find it difficult to see the point of the likes of uwe and sentimental fool. Your venom is not potent at all. Why on earth do you spend energy writing negative, cynical thing over and over again? How many times have we heard about BF;s weak voice for example? Well, he has never been a singer like a Tom Jones. Surely his voice has changed, but it still has its uniqueness. Never mind, we are different. And I guess we all posess this ridiculous wish to change other peoples mind to a degree. Anyway, I cherish Star and I also enjoyed Love letters.
One thing, though, uwe. True artist never stops being creative. It has nothing to do with fame, money, whatever, it is an energy that keeps coming out, like water from a well, like it or not.

' You can say there will be stuff coming out next year,yes. This won't be on the first album,though - it'll probably be on the second, which is nearly finished.'

The longest wait is, it seems, almost over. Even by BF standards it's been an extraordinary long time, but perhaps we're in for a bounty of riches!

Could it be interpreted as meaning that the first album that is to come is already finished? Are these the recordings in which Phil was involved in 11 pieces, as he himself once announced in an interview?

It does seem strange that they should choose to include Star on Retrospective as a teaser for not the next album but probably the one after that. I quite enjoy the track but I'm not sure I'd want a whole album's worth of material in this style. Of course we don't yet know how typical this track is of all the material that's been worked on.

I'm confused..."the second album is almost finished" what does that imply for the 1st album?
While a Roxy effort would be welcomed, i just don't see that as likely. Perhaps a Ferry album with tracks that PM worked on, but quite frankly with his limited voice what would that album be like? I am wondering if at least 1 of these 2 albums will be a Amelia Barrett album "featuring BF", vs. a true BF solo album. Hopefully it is not just a remix of a previous album or a colored version of a previous one. I Anxiously await what the maestro can deliver at this late stage of a brilliant career.
