Did you see that terrible comment in the Times today? An anonymous promoter (commenting on Bryan's remarks about concerts in Hyde Park) said "poor old Bryan, he has to do after dinner entertainment now. He couldn't fill my local pub." Slightly harsh for an artist who (albeit with his erstwhile chums from Roxy) last year just about filled the O2!

BF could fill plenty of pubs. No question about that. It's an idiotic comment...
Recently I clicked on the BF twitter account and was not surprised at all that he (or more likely his son Isaac) has rarely posted anything but the most bland of tweets. But what was interesting is that, despite offering essentially nothing to the Twitterati, BF still has more than 9,000 people following him. There is actually very little to follow, but nonetheless 9,000 people have opted to be a BF follower. That's a sign to me that still has a broad-based audience. Of course it didn't help him sell many copies of Olympia, but it could help him fill a whole lot of pubs!
