You hardcore-fans probably didn't miss this one. Still the ambience in this Roxy classic is so psychodelicate and wicked, words cannot spell out the score.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOuMfjKuQUc As a movie-head, I get pictures of Orson Welles; F for Fake, Citizen Kane, Lynche's Twin peaks and Sam Peckinpah's Straw Dogs.. Oh, and maybe Kenneth Angers Scorpio Rising.. Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourgs daughter , Charlotte Gainsbourg, just made a hell of a great record..with Beck

Interesting. First reaction looks like a shock, but once you get into the song, it's quite fascinated. Totally different from the original version.

The origin of this upload. is Dutch, Rotterdam. I've even seen 'Byron' 'Bryon' and 'Brion'(like Brion Gysin) another famous Beat-generetion artist, by the way. And coincidently founder of the Dream Machine.. Warning: -Can be dangerous to people with Epileptic diseases or Nervous Disorders. Anyone put me in on that?

I think Bryan might just be the more modern version of Brian. "The boy's name Brian \b-rian\ is pronounced BRY-en. It is of Celtic, Irish and Gaelic origin, and the meaning of Brian is "high, noble". Could also mean "strength". Historical: Brian Boru (10th century) was a warrior who became high king of Ireland and one of its greatest national heroes. He liberated the country from the Danes in 1014.
Brian has 14 variant forms: Brain, Bri, Briano, Briant, Brien, Brion, Bryan, Bryant, Bryent, Brye, Bryen, Bryent, Bryon and O'Brien."

You beat me to it Roxy.
I have been studying my Irish roots lately (though I am very much a Scotsman) I intend to visit Dromoland Castle in Ireland when I am over at the Electric Picnic festival. This is the ancestral home of the O'Brien's. My father taught me about Brian Boru when I was a wee boy and have been reading a lot about him and the clan name lately. I noticed before that Bryan was a variant of the name.
It turns out that the Parochial House used in 'Father Ted' is only 15 miles form Dromoland so I inted to go there too when I am there.

Great information and knowledge everyone Thanks. @Peter: As for this duet, I personally might think I would outnumber Carla's voice. She's pretty and charming, b(u)y all means, and she would be well off by making ads for Gauloise cigarettes.. *PUFF* I like different vocals, I frankly "collect" them, and I find Ferrys voice one of the most sensous in music history. I also read latly, that Madame Sarkozy is holding a cameo-role in Woody Allens latest movie, Midnight in Paris. http://www.showbizspy.com/article/20904 ... allen.htmlA female French duet I find adorable and fresh, doesn't contain any other reference to Ferry, but his co-lab. with Jane Birkin, in a French show some years ago, here with the amazing Vanessa Paradis (Johnny Depp's girl-friend). Written to Jane by Serge Gainsbourgh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHJp0x0z3iUSorry, the digression, just a sudden memory of one of my favourite cities.
