The most direct news here for fans is that BF will be releasing at least more two solo albums after TJA. The time frame for these releases is left unstated.

Given the turmoil/changes enveloping the Music Industry these days it would be interesting to learn more about the terms and character of BF's deal with BMG but, given BF's proclivity for privacy in his business affairs, this is not something we're likely to hear much more about. It is interesting that the deal involves most, but not all of the songs, in BF's catalog. I wonder why some were excluded (and which ones they are). And given that Roxy's biggest "hit" was LITD that was co-written by Andy M and BF, I wonder what its status is (and what Andy's relationship to BMG might be).

The Andy/BF relationship is important at this point, especially if there is any chance that anything related to Roxy (other than re-issues) might happen in the future. If BMG is excited to bring BF into its fold, you'd think they would also be excited to develop a relationship with Roxy Music as a business entity. That would of course involve BF, but it would also necessitate the involvement of PM and Andy. Who knows where all of this might lead...

I don`t think we should look so much further in time than to the release of Jazz! That will be a really good time!

Good question wrighta. It's hard to figure how the BMG deal relates to Roxy re-releases, but I doubt that it makes things any simpler...
