Loved it! Can do Argentine tango to it. Can't wait for more.

I heard the entire album last week. This Island Earth was the stand out for me.

I hope to write a review for this site sometime this week.

Ageing Swingers (musical variety),
This is quite brilliant.
Like ATGB, it takes you back to another time but with interpretations of his originals, faithfully translated and then given a light sprinkling of Ferrydust to make them really magical.
Can't wait for the album.
Here's looking at you kid!
Regards,
Windswept

"This Island Earth" has always been a favourite of mine. It has the same profoundness as "Reason or Rhyme". And the jazz version is helped very much br Enrique Tomasso. Rememeber him playing "My Only Face" a decade ago or so - truly magic.

Thanks for jogging my memory :) I have just had a listen to that track from the Glasgow show of that tour and it is indeed wonderful.

As indeed is the version from Golders Green which was on radio 2, the best version from either that tour or the frantic tour.
