Ageing Swingers (musical variety), This is quite brilliant. Like ATGB, it takes you back to another time but with interpretations of his originals, faithfully translated and then given a light sprinkling of Ferrydust to make them really magical. "This Island Earth" has always been a favourite of mine. It has the same profoundness as "Reason or Rhyme". And the jazz version is helped very much br Enrique Tomasso. Rememeber him playing "My Only Face" a decade ago or so - truly magic. |

As indeed is the version from Golders Green which was on radio 2, the best version from either that tour or the frantic tour. |
