Lo and behold! It had to happen sometime, but it`s always been just a fantasy; Bryan Ferry visiting the most well known jazz festival in Norway! - And could there be any moment more suitable for this than now, when he`s touring his jazz album! Hmm, my town of birth, by the way...

Maybe she's someone who works for Alistair Norbury, BF's "Management" (as listed the TJA credits)

Presumably Norbury's organization would be handling BF/BFO bookings (or at least be party to the negotiations) and would know when contracts for public gigs are signed.

Just a guess on my part!

Eva is a Ferry/Roxy fan that lives in Germany. She sends info to the site when she comes across it on the net. There are many fans that do this and I am grateful for this.

JO'B:
You are very loyal (in the best sense of the word) to BF. It seems to me that his people should clue you in when public (not private) gigs are contracted for. But there's much about BF that doesn't make sense to me...

Well, I agree she had a better link than me, but I do believe I was before her.

Have I missed something? How did we get from the opening contribution to those that followed? :?

If you mean the queries about Eva's identity, Richard, you'll find that J.O'B thanked her for the news in the home page announcement of the Norwegian gig.

If you mean the carping about how the info reaches us, I guess that's just the way some VRM members roll! ;)

There have been occasions when Team BF has asked J.O'B to publicise things because they know VRM has a broad readership which possibly out-strips the official site; I don't think that's by any means an entirely negative situation.
