I recently sorted through my BF promo singles and found a couple of duplicates. I could eBay them, but wanted to check first if they might plug a gap in a VRM member's collection... (1) The Times They Are A-Changin' (Virgin VSCDJ 1931) is a UK issue featuring a radio edit (2:58), as well as the album version (3:39). It was issued in a mini-LP card sleeve, similar to the Dylanesque cover, but without BF's picture. (2) Mamouna (Virgin DPRO-14227) is a USA issue featuring a radio edit (3:50) (other US promos featured the album version instead) & a single edit (3:45), as well as the three live tracks from Glasgow '88 (Dream Home, Don't Stop The Dance & Bete Noire). It was issued in a jewel case with black & white photo inserts which differ from the UK & other US issues. I also have a spare CD of the music from The Great Gatsby, if anyone's interested in it. Happy to consider exchanges or low price sales. |

I've found a couple more duplicates; I expect the diehards will have them already, but just in case... (1) As Time Goes By & Falling In Love Again (Virgin DINSDJ 192). 2 tracks in a mini-LP card sleeve; picture from the ATGB photo shoot. (2) A Fool For Love & One Way Love (Virgin DINSDJ 254). 2 tracks in a mini-LP picture card sleeve. |
