One assumes it's not just residents of the Emerald Isle that will get to live the 'Bryan Ferry with Strings' experience, since the venue's website describes it as "Bryan Ferry returns to the National Concert Hall in 2014 for the Irish debut his new show"(sic). I thought the Proms event last year was wonderful and no doubt these Irish shows and any subsequent tour would be a great showcase for BF/RM material, but coming so soon after the same material was exposed to a jazz treatment, I'm not so sure. What next...? |
