Great article from a great magazine.
I particularly like the shot from '75. I wasn't a huge fan of the Gi look at the time but it's certainly grown on me since.
I wouldn't wear it down to the Co-op but Waitrose peut-etre!
This would be a great addition to a sartorial section.

Ah, I suspected Monsieur Windswept would be the first to comment on this article as it would be right up your Savile Row I did wonder about adding it to your post about the Sartorial section but as it was such a long article thought it might have been better with it's own thread. Maybe a section for Press/Magazine articles might be an idea?

This is right up my strand and is perfect material for a forum devoted to the 'Sartorial or 'Tour Looks'.
The idea is that J'O B (if he is willing) would create a section a la 'General Discussions' were contributors could post archives dating back to '72.
Personally I think this would please a lot of fans who recognise the unique styles that have been featured over the years and how they were integral to each tour. That well known Ferry impersonator, Bowie, created but two characters whilst our hero has been the veritable Chameleon!
That said, maybe I'm alone with that fetish in which case I'll just keep my tailoring preferences to myself!
