This is statement from Bryan Ferry's management:

"The regrettable cancellation of the two concerts in Leipzig was unavoidable and solely due to the actions of the promoter. Bryan was 100% ready to deliver the orchestral shows and all the arrangements of the songs had been produced, rehearsed and delivered.

This matter is now being pursued by Bryan's lawyers but we apologise to all the fans who have been disappointed or are currently having difficulty reclaiming the ticket refund.
We are also aware that the promoter failed to take proper steps to notify ticket holders.

Bryan and the team were very upset not to be able to present this new show in Leipzig, which will now have to receive its debut in Dublin next week."

Thank you for posting this, John. Glad that BF and his management do not just take these accusations but confront them.

Really pleased that this much more emphatic statement has been issued. Colours nailed firmly to the mast this time!

Most Discerning Of Hipsters,
Was there ever any doubt?
The great mystery of the disappearing Leipzig gigs has now been solved and our hero is sticking his legal team on this ne'er-do-well promoter. Yet another illustration of his allegiance to his public.
Bravo! Shame we couldn't award this philistine concert disorganiser the Glasgow kiss!
Anyway, the good news is that Dublin has become the evenement premiere and we can all look forward to a fandango with strings and, as well as reflecting on his wardrobe, Windswept has been spending time puzzling over our hero's set list. Aside from a selection from ATGB, ATAP and TFT what else will be included? Do any of you debauched dilettantes out there have any educated guesses?
I'm hoping for 'Casanova', 'Bitter Sweet', 'BĂȘte noire' and 'Tender Is The Night' to name but four.
Regards,
Windswept
