Good Evening To All Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry Solo Fans Who inhabit this hallowed Cyber Hall of Life-Long dedication and devotion. This is Lori I have a request to make among the faithful here. If any and all Fans have all of Bryan Ferry's Marks & Spencer Photo Shoot Session Pictures that were used for Marks & Spencer's Add campaign for Their My Autograph Line of Men's clothes that Bryan modeled so dashing and elegantly for would You be so very kind to scan and post Them Here in Bryan's Forum for Me? As A Stateside Fan I was not able to see all of them. IMHO Marks & Spencer were just plain WRONG to fire Him from His job with Them. There is NO better Man on This Island Earth to Re-Make/Re-Model A line of Men's clothes for a Department Store in ANY Country Life in The World. The most stylish and debonair Musician ever who KNOWS how to dress for sucsess. I really enjoy looking at how immaculately dressed He always is. I would also like the H & M Photo Shoot Sessions Pictures that were done with Tara scanned and posted Here in Bryan's Forum. As I was not able to see all of those either. For both requests I am offering My genuine Thank You's and appreciations for. For The H & M Photo Shoot Sessions I was only able to find The Video for in Once on The Daily Motion. Bryan sure put the moves of Smooth Operator in it! If I seem over enthusiastic I am sorry. Bryan just touches Me as a Music Fan so deeply. A real Gift He so is. May any Fan Who are The Veteran Members Here ask J.O.B when The Photo Gallery for the Web-Site will be Re-Instated? I was not privy to see it when it was there. I thank You for that as well. I really appreciate This Web-Site ans Message/Discussion Board. Lori.

Cher Lori, Many of us are still in shock at our hero's M&S adventure. Rumour has it that the synthetic fabrics used in the shoot resulted in an anaphylactic fit with Bryan having to be rushed from the shoot to Savile Row - or Old Burlington Street to be precise — whereupon Anderson & Sheppard swathed him in the Row's finest until he was resuscitated! Now what will be the sartorial choice for Dublin? C'est la question du jour? a bien tôt, Windswept

Lori, I don't know if I should own up so quickly but I have all the M&S photographs scanned. I have the H&M photos too. I will have to upload them to a photo sharing site to post them here but will do as soon as I can. PS, I also have the actual merchandising posters/window displays too.........did I just say that out loud? (What does one to with a 10 x 6 foot M&S window display?)

Cher Roxy, This is becoming more worrying by the minute. Here we are, all trying to consign the M&S misadventure to history and you own up to harbouring a 10' X 6' window display - quel bordel! The only solution is to rush it down to Anderson & Sheppard and have them redress it in something decent then ship it off to Lori! a bien tôt, Windswept

My apologies Monsieur W. After I pressed the "post" button I had an awful vision of you scrambling for a bottle of Crown Lavender Salts at the thought but please forgive my tendencies which I believe our host often refers to as being a "completest". The thought of The Maestro's images being cast aside into the cold grey bins of M&S are hard to bear and I had no option but to rescue and archive. If only my small residence were a large chateaux with panoramic windows the large hanging display could have been transformed into a lovely roller blind I do hope you can understand and forgive my weak moments.

[quote="Roxy"]My apologies Monsieur W.
Cher Roxy, Apology accepted but unnecessary between Ferryistas - it's a broad church and were it not for you committed completists important pieces of Roxology would be lost to the world forever! In any event, my butler was at hand, caught me before I hit the deck and quickly administered the salts! The only point I would make is that for many of us, the M&S misadventure is the sartorial equivalent of "Is My Love Strong Enough" and as such, is probably best consigned to history. Meilleures salutations, Windswept Ps. Looking forward to Dublin

I fear the salts were out of reach.

[quote="Roxy"]Bryan "in situ".
Cher Roxy, We all have moments we'd rather forget. Windswept lui-meme once had a flirtation with flairs that prompted him to destroy all photos of the offending period. Whatever inspired the 'Sultan Of Suave' to dress up as a double glazing sales representative will and should remain one of the great mysteries of our time. But ,maybe, just maybe he was trying to give credence to that great lyric; "All Styles Served Here"? In any event, we owe it to him to air brush it from history! Happily, he is back firmly ensconced in the 'Row' with the occasional trip to Rubinacci. An altogether more appropriate routine for a gentleman of his calibre. Now I must fly — that damn butler of mine still hasn't packed my valise for Dublin. a bien tôt, Windswept
