New album arrives in November and is called: Avonmore

Yay! can't wait for November . "Avonmore" isn't that the street where his Studio One is. Guess it's just a follow on from Olympia, the district in London where the studio is.
I'm intrigued about the cover of Send in the Clowns, if anyone can put a new spin on it I guess BF can. I haven't liked all his covers.I think Whatever gets you thru the night (Olympia) was awful, although I am told (by someone not too far away from this forum) that there were better recordings of it.
Do you think BF will be trying out some of the songs during this next stage of his tour ?

Oh, Bollywood strings !!!

Maybe a trilogy? Olympia - Avonmore - Studio One? ;)

Windswept is absolutely delighted that the new album is called "Avonmore". For the past seventeen years he has owned an apartment in Bishop Kings Road (next street) - so he's convinced this one's for him and with Johnny Marr on guitar there is going to be lots to excite Helen.
Just hope he manages to squeeze in the new bar room version of MTT!

The Chicago Sun-Times story looks legit and it is the source of the Avonmore title and info. So I believe this is what will soon be more formally announced...

On the surface "Avonmore" almost sounds like a parody of what a BF album might be titled. A shameless melidng of Avalon and More than This = Avonmore. But hey, that's what is reported in the Sun Times so can only presume that is in fact the album title.

The tweet that indicates a lot of Johnny Marr guitar makes sense because there was considerable publicity back in 2012 about a BF & JM collaboration and JM toured with him that summer...
