I find it sad that the current concert version of 'Virginia Plain' is sung the whole way through by Bryan and his backing singers. I assume it is down to the fragility of his voice. Could also be why he brought Fonzi in to beef up the male vocal parts. I don't mind backing singers - even The Sirens and Kokomo's - but I don't want to see a Roxy lite concert full of choral pieces next year. (Unless you add an orchestra of course!) |
