So Laryngitis has struck again and 2 German dates cancelled. Shame for the fans, hope he gets well soon and takes a good long rest before the English tour next year.

Concerned Diletantes,
This schedule of fandangos is proving impossible to sustain and is tacking its toll on our hero's Hobson's choice!
When Windswept saw him in Dublin (BFWS) he was in fine voice but he'd had eight days singing rest prior (at least without a public concert) and it payed off big time. These back to back jobs are just playing havoc with things and W2 hopes that he reschedules and makes getting himself well an absolute priority.
These voice problems go way back and although I feel for fellow Ferryistas that have their concerts canceled, Windswept is sure that everybody would rather he did all that is necessary to take care of himself.
Let's hope he gets well soon and then paces himself.
Salutations,
Windswept.

Yes thats correct, but on cherisse,osei.com stand see me live with Bryan 30,Nov. 2014 in Hannover. That means that Hamburg(29.11.) ) is perhaps cancelled too ?

it would be nice to officially communicate something more accurate here

You must be travelling with a proper airline, Roxysiren; I don't think Easyjet would give me a refund! ;)

Wednesday's Berlin gig is unusual in being cancelled in advance; most of the others have bitten the dust at less than 24 hours notice...

On the plus side, Munich is a fortnight away, so plenty of time for a full recovery. What worries me is that BF is scheduled to perform on three successive nights (4th to 6th), with only one night off before Munich (8th); I think two nights on, then one night off would have been a wiser move.

Fingers crossed...

Looking at the dates in Germany, 10 shows over 15 nights is a punishing schedule for anyone never mind if nursing acute laryngitis. The advance cancellation of Berlin must be to give him a better chance of recovering. :(

8-)

Oh dear, I hope he's not going to cancel Hamburg as well, I really haven't seen him live in quite a while now. On the other hand I hope he will take all the time he needs to fully recover and not risk his health over some tour dates.

I fear a tour is only economically advantageous if the dates are relatively close to each other, otherwise the cost for the crew and hotels etc. will get blown out of proportion. Maybe it's time for our hero to consider staying in London and giving a handful of concerts every month? I think there are already some people who are doing so, but I've forgotten who. (Reminds me I'm not getting younger, either ;) )
