Mes Amis, With the exception of the excellent 'War On Drugs' and, of course 'Avonmore', Windswept doesn't find too much to like on this particular list. In fact he suspects that the 'Taste Tarantula' got bored with the task, delegated it to the intern, and asked her do him something cool. Unfortunately she didn't fully grasp the adjective and came up with this instead! A brilliant idea, Monsieur Windswept, to publish your own list. I prefer our hero's version of 'The In-Crowd' (because it sounds so 'roxy') to Dobie Gray, Ramsey Lewis and even Gregory Porter - but the latter's version is doubtlessly outstanding. Unconvinced Mr F had anything to do with these choices. If so, he should either stop listening to Radio 1 or start listening to the Ferrys with more eclectic tastes. |
