My telephone conversation with Ticketmaster just now, could have been a sketch for Monty Python... basically, it was a waste of time and they were not only unhelpful, but obviously unaware
of the cancellations, and were even still offering tickets for Stuttgart.
They were unable to answer two questions:
1: do they have any news regarding the re-scheduling?
2: if Bryans team is unable to re-schedule the dates, what is the latest date the tickets can be returned for reimbursement?
As I have front row seats for Hamburg, I am more than hesitant in sending them back in the hope that a new date will be confirmed. On the other hand I do not want to lose the cash if the concerts are cancelled all together. Surely, Tickermaster has a timeframe for such a scenario.

Anyway, thanks in advance to our Germany members for keeping a close eye on progress and any news of the re-scheduled dates..

JoB: are you able to confirm that Bryan's Team is working on re-scheduling?

Happy Adventszeit to all

Thanks StephenPep for the information!

We have front row tickets for Düsseldorf, so we are also hesitating: return the tickets or wait for rescheduling...... :?

:)

I think when a show is cancelled, normally there's a delay to see if rescheduling can take place. If not, then from my experience, it's not necessary to send the tickets back, the ticket agency just refunds the charge to your credit/debit card. I guess if you paid cash at an outlet then yes, you might need to present your ticket for refund.

I've received this email from ticketmaster which very clearly says the tickets remain valid for the rescheduled concert in 2015:

http://ticketmaster.elaine-asp.de/go/0ppysu04/xfpn2wnt/1076

so I don't see any reason to worry. (I'm not giving my front row tickets back, either.)

Thank you, Lonely Dreamer. I think I'll get this from 'easy ticket', too. But I'm trying to get my money back because my seats aren't front row - booked them a little bit too late. @ StephenPep: Schöne Adventszeit, too :-)

I was told at 'Easy Ticket' (Stuttgart) to send my tickets back - otherwise they couldn't retransfer the money ...

Eventim demanded the Munich tickets back from my friend in Bavaria as part of the refund process; you'd think that, as a registered customer or account holder, her card could simply be recredited and the tickets cancelled remotely (most tickets are barcoded these days).

It's a pity because Eventim print "fantickets" with the artist's photo on them, which would have made decent souvenirs (even of the cancelled gig!)... :(

I have received an email from Riverconcerts, (www.riverconcerts.de) who confirmed they are not only responsible for re-organizing Bryans European Tour, but despite difficulties in the re-scheduling have also confirmed that they hope to publish the new dates just before Christmas..... now that would be a nice present!!

I may get my tea mug after all!

Nice evening All...
