A straight answer to the face value of your question is "yes and no". I think it`s an uneven album. I think songs number 3, 4 and 5 don`t quite fit in with the other ones. BF has earlier said of one of his albums that it`s not meant to be a "difficult" album. Maybe that "difficult" album is what we all are craving for?

I`ve always wondered what the word "dodgy" means. I googled it, and my present understanding is being a bit unserious, a stowaway in the ship of rock. This is what the person behind the review says, not MY words. However, it means a new take on the phenomenon BF, and maybe a reason why not some rock lovers take him to their heart.

BF may be too "mannered" for many Rock Aficionados, but his outright dodgy moments are relatively rare. Nonetheless, the pencil thin mustache and "gaucho look" circa 1976 was mighty dodgy in my opinion. And this performance of "Wonderful World" with Twiggy is also rather dodgy, or maybe it's simply endearing, or maybe it's just waaaay too camp...

Yes, I did, I even clicked on the link you posted to that amazon review. If you simply post a link without an explanation as to why you're posting it, then it's natural to assume you're largely agreeing with it.

The review itself is, ILDNSHO, pure rubbish. Take the first sentence e.g.:

What a nonsensical remark is that? Why should anybody care for the opinion of the jurors from some stupid American tv show? Unless, of course, it was meant as a compliment that Bryan would be voted out of any such show because his music is simply to good and not nearly mainstream enough for such a competition - but I fear that's not how it was meant. :roll:

Oh, oh, oh. You got me. I`ve just been dispensing litter. It shall never happen again, but I think he`s too mannered for some Neil Young fans, though. Besides, we shouldn`t forget that RM was a protest against what many rock lovers are for.
