W2 is doing all he can to stay positive but with Neil Hubbard being the only member of the Praetorian Guard in attendance he is starting to worry.

Maybe his concerns are ill founded and TBFO are warming up in another studio?

A further cause for anxiety is Roxy's news that our hero has gone to Johnny Rotten's tailor!

What exactly is going on? Can somebody please elaborate?

If these moves are financially driven, W2 would much prefer that we pass the hat around — preferably a fedora from Lock & Co - and that normal service is resumed as quickly as possible.

W2 - try to relax, take a deep breath. There's much worse things happening in the world besides tailors & such. Send an email to B's site & ask them.

A few facts about the tour band

1. Colin Good retired from touring of his own choice.

2. Ollie Thompson left to pursue his solo career (some Ollie fans here have sent good reports of some of the gigs he has done that they went to)

3. Jodie is pregnant and having a baby, not ideal for touring.

4. TBFO was a one off project and tour for The Jazz Age and all the players took time off from other projects to which they have return

Congratulations to Jodie - the best of news!

Concerning other issues, Windswept is breathing deeply and is trying to calm himself — ultimately we will see what we will see.

Hopefully we will enjoy the most creative set list featuring a smorgasbord of new arrangements, brilliantly played against a sumptuous back drop. All commemorated in the best tour book since ATGB.

'More Than This' W2 prays for the reformation of TBFO for a Jazz Age2
and in the interim will console himself by listening to the Tollwood tapes — surely the greatest live album never released!

Regarding Erland's point that "There's much worse things happening in the world besides tailors & such". I couldn't agree more but I'm not sure that they are the subject of these column inches. Meanwhile all self respecting Ferryistas should know there are few things more important than a gentleman's tailor!

Sad news, John, sad news. The BFO tour 2013 was so good... Now I take it for granted that a dvd/b-ray of that golden time soon will see the daylight. Else it will be reported to the authorities!
Bearded, tattooed men in black is not what I want to see on a BF concert. Only Jorja stands for some glamour.
Well BF will be there and the songs. I guess I`m getting old and grumpy.

Agree, T shirt and jeans for a BF band just will not do. Maybe it's just my age. Still looking forward to Brum though.
