I was in Berlin with the whole family, fantastic show, Bryan is in top form !!! Brilliant. The band is really good ( included background singers ). It was a wonderful event. Standing ovations at the end. Thanks to everyone.

Today I read this on Viva Roxy Music com:

" In a recent interview while on tour in Germany he mentioned that after this tour he will be returning to his studio to continue working on new recordings, a hint of more albums to come "

more albums to come ? more than one ? a Roxy album ?

J.O`B: do you have some more informations ?

Some people in the crowd (Berlin) say that the next will be a Roxy album ? A joke ?

I neither want nor expect another new Roxy Music album.
And it ain't gonna happen. Like the Queen abdicating in favour of William, it's just not the natural order of things.

John, I'm sure Mr Ferry will be more than happy for you to share on his official forum, we promise not to share with anyone else.

Uwe, I was just merely quoting what Bryan had said in an interview that he had some recordings to go back to in his studio after the tour.

I don't expect a Roxy album but I do want one! I still see no reason why they shouldn't be able to come up with something unique.
As much as I love 'Frantic', 'Olympia' and 'Avonmore', they all feature material recorded over the last decade or more. Nothing wrong with that at all, nothing wrong with revisiting something that works at a later date, it's still new whenever it comes out.
So perhaps the next album will take a completely different direction with a fresh approach including this wonderful new band, but yes I'd still like a group record.
