Post subject:  For Shame Of Doing Wrong by Bryan Ferry?

Elegantly Ageing Hipsters,

Windswept is still high after last week's FerryFix and is having a lot of difficulty returning to reality.

It's in this post euphoric state that thoughts must turn to our hero's next mission and it is with this in mind that W2 returns to a familiar theme and that is the absolute necessity of 'The Bonny Lad' interpreting Richard Thompson's 'The Shame Of Doing Wrong' without further delay.

If ever a song was tailor made for our hero, it is this. Our hero should not look at it as a "ready made" he should look at it as "made to measure" for lui-meme.

Just listen to Sandy Denny, Richard & Linda Thompson, or even Evan Dando's take on this fabulous song and you know it's just got Ferry's name on it.

It is fabulous and when you imagine Bryan pouring Ferry soup all over it, goose bumps just isn't in it.

Come on Bonny Lad, we need to hear these immortal words emulating from studio one:

"I'm sorry for the things I've said the things I've done
I'm sorry for the restless thief I've been
Please don't make repay for my deceiving heart
Just turn up the lamp and let me in"

I know he doesn't do requests but if this were to be on the next album W2 could live out the rest of his days in a state of euphoria.

Salutations,
Windswept
