Which song would you like him to interpret Lonely Dreamer? How about one of our Al Green faves?

I honestly don't know, never spent much time thinking about that. Although I have often been wondering why he does so many Dylan songs but has never covered anything by Leonard Cohen...? Obviously they have a completely different pitch of voice, but if Ferry's voice keeps getting deeper maybe in 2020 he could do an early Cohen song like Suzanne or Hey That's no Way to say Goodbye?

I read or heard the same interview Lonely Dreamer, about why he doesn't like to call them covers.

How about you Roxy, which song or songs would you like to see him do?

Hedonistic Hipsters,
IWNSHO, this is a topic that can't be discussed enough and Teresa's recommendation is completely inspired. W2 loves this song and thinks it would be a perfect choice for hero to interpret.
Whilst on the subject, W2's life long love of 'Carrickfergus' makes him wish that our hero would explore more from the traditional folk world.
A few years ago he did a couple of sea chanteys for a compilation album and Windswept thought they had charm - particularly 'The Cruel Ship's Captain'.
OK, they have a deliberately rough hewn to them but this in itself is part of their charm.
More than this, there rests W2's long standing desire to see The Bonny Lad turn his hand to Richard Thompson's fabulous 'For Shame Of Doing Wrong' (for arrangement clue see Sandy Denny's take).
If ever a song was created for Ferry this is it. That said, he probably doesn't take requests and has his own list.
Windswept poursuit ses rêves.
Salutations,

W2

WS2;
Life is too short
We need to convey our heartfelt desires to Our Hero

Johnny and Mary is my favourite so far
A short film noir
Bryan did a fantastic job on that one
And his voice is perfect
He just gets better
