Sage Sartorialists,
This morning W2 was haunting The Bonny Lad's very own web site in the hope of buying a ticket for next year's Palladium fandango when he came across 'The Holy Grail' of Ferryology.
If you go into the 'live' section and look at the second video in you will see that it is from 2013's tour and features our hero rocking out to the J.J.Cale anthem.
Mon Dieu, it is absolutely spectacular. To see TBFO & his rock band together again just shivered Windswept's timbers.
The arrangement, with Colin on the old Joanna, Ollie on guitar and that sublime BFO horn section is just, with the exception of ATGB, an example of a show that was an absolute career high.
Furthermore it is aesthetically superb.
The purpose of this thread is threefold:
Firstly to point out that professionally shot footage exists.
Secondly to make sure that those that missed the tour get an opportunity to sample complete genius.
And thirdly to launch a direct appeal to Studio One to get out a DVD/CD package. Windswept has lived without it for too long and for God's sake, isn't that jacket alone worth a movie - not to mention our hero's version of 'Move On Up' !
Salutations,
W2

Thanks for that Windswept2,
So agree on all points. That is a great video, and that gorgeous blue lighting, Sigh :)
