Monsieur Windswept will be pleased to hear that his favourite song has been covered by Femme Schmidt. Or maybe not. ;)

The cover version is also used in the soundtrack of a German TV show "Das Programm" that will be shown tonight.

-Always liked it. One of his most Avalon-like songs.

Sadly I missed the beginning of her show, we arrived a couple of minutes before eight just to see an annoncement the concert would start 30 minutes earlier. When we arrived at our seats her show was already halfway through. I really would have liked to see it from the beginning.

I really enjoyed the support act Femme Schmidt in Stuttgart. The band is definitely very talented. BTW: There is a version of 'Oh Yeah' recorded by German soul singer Laith Al-Deen. Unfortunately it isn't available on YouTube but you can download it from iTunes Germany. This version has almost a gospel feeling with hammond organ sound etc. Not bad in PMNSHO ;-)
