Hi Everyone..

I was Delighted to receive this picture of Bryan with a lovely portrait I gifted to him from a young artist from his hometown named Barry Jones, an alumni of Newcastle College where Bryan studied art

He is sending both the artist and myself autographed copies of the new Live album 8-)

He loves it and will probably hang it in Studio One....

To give our Hero just a tiny bit of the happiness back he has given me....

PRICELESS....

P.S.
Roxy please help me turn the picture
Right Side Up...!!!!
I cannot figure out how to!!!
Thanks in advance,
Teresa

Philosophical Philanderers,

What a great portrait of the 'Goddess of love' this looks to be.

It captures her vulnerability and sensuality and compliments Bryan's lyrics perfectly :

"Marilyn says I've got nothing to wear tonight
Only a pair of diamond earrings that catch the light
Platinum blonde - is it true that you have more fun ?
Siberia now - I'm sad and all alone."

Albeit, he's missed her earrings out or maybe her hair is hiding them?

What a great present - I bet The Bonny Lad is thrilled !

Salutations,
W2

It is a gorgeous painting Teresa and great that Bryan sent you the photograph!

I don't know how you post your pictures to the forum, I upload them to a photo album site and post the link from there. I think you would have to turn the image before you post it as I don't think it can be tuned once on the site. I have saved it and uploaded here the right way up and hope that is okay for you. :)

It is a lovely drawing....I love the innocence and youth it has captured, instead of the vamp tartiness Marilyn's image became....

W2 said it all in his brilliant summary.

Well done Teresa.

Norma Jean would have celebrated her 90th birthday today if she was still with us.
