Nah, he was just being cheekily facetious. Lauren gets on well with Bryan and obviously admires him, the interview was warm. I remember her - pre Dylanesque I think- interviewing him on bbctv and when he said he was still working on a few things on the album she said something like "oh no, you're not going to spend 2 years on soundscapes I hope?" She can get away with it, Sunderland lass and sense of humour. I'm looking forward to the Tynemouth gig and a return home. |

I haven't been able to listen to the interview and I'm wondering what the "We wanted something to flog really..." quote refers to? Is the 2015 Live album? or something else? Just wondering... |

Yes DCJ, it was the live album, they mainly talk about the fact it's his first solo live album, and then he mentions releasing the 1974 Albert hall show later this year. |

But the interviewers good natured poke at Bryans obvious love of them amused Fellow Sunderland Native Rendezvous  Hope to See You at the Tyne Ferryfest Rendezvous My First Time Across the Pond And First Time Seeing Bryan Yay!!! What a Birthday This Will Be...
