I like this, Cave's writing/thoughts move from pathos to bathos quickly, it's dreamlike, evocative and surreal. He's a big Roxy/BF fan and was asked at one Sick bag Q&A about considering covering one of their songs, he said (I'm paraphrasing) that his early (school?) band used to do Roxy covers but later, when he and his band were successful, they found trying to cover Roxy was impossible, and that there was something indefinable and difficult to recreate, especially Bryan's "wavering" voice. Thank you Rendezvous, Agree, he is Very Interesting to say the least  Bryan also has a very unique artistic style, and I understand his attraction to other artists like Jane Birkin, Bob Dylan, Nicky Haslam, etc.... And I am still Gobsmacked  When I say to people my age here in America Do you know who Bryan Ferry is? Roxy Music??!! Love is the Drug??!!! And am met With Blank Stares
