Hi all, was anyone here at Bryan's Royal Albert Hall show in 1974?

Did Eddie Jobson play?

Anyone got a concert ticket from that show.

Any got any memorabilia from then other than the concert programme. Anything like press advert, poster etc?

J.O'B.

Do you still have what I sent a while back John? There was a press review of the show which mentions Eddie Jobson.

The Tour Book for BF '74 posted on the VRM Tour list site indicates that "Keyboards" at the RAH show were to be handled by Peter Robinson and Mike Moran. The Music Director is listed as Martyn Ford. There is no mention of Eddie J (or Andy M), but PM and TGPT are listed with short Bios (along with John Wetton and John Porter)

This is an interesting article about the abortive attempt by Bryan to have a concert in the Albert Hall on 31/1/1974. It didn't take place because of the 'unsavoury' rock/pop content of 'These Foolish Things'.
Apparently there had been a lot of trouble at concerts in 1971 so a ban was enforced. You can read all about it here:

Finally CBW2!

The artwork for the album can include a period picture of Ferry, without irony.

It is hoped that BF has the whole show recorded, as it'll be a rare opportunity to hear such a setlist:

I was there! All I remember is the first three rows thinking they were so 'cool' that they didn't applaud until the end! Probably held their St. Moritz between their second and third fingers too!
