BF'S original plan for These foolish things was for all the tracks to be radical cover versions as with hard rain but due to the upcoming stranded recording/writing he compromised and did half "straight" covers and half re-made/re-modeled covers.

Fascinating .. first time I've heard that.


Re "camp". When I set this hare running, I really meant "arch" or "stylised" which is my (mistaken?) understanding of one admittedly older-fashioned meaning of the word.
