Trevor Horn mentions that "he once made a Bryan Ferry record in four days" and that even Bryan was surprised. mmm. Words and music were already written by Taupin/Page. I take it Bryan took it as a positive it was finished in 4 days.

In amongst the comments in this lengthy and fascinating series of interviews in connection with the re-release of McCartney's Flowers in the Dirt album (in the section on "Figure of Eight") Trevor Horn mentions that "he once made a Bryan Ferry record in four days" and that even Bryan was surprised. http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/inter ... -the-dirt/ Did this ever see the light of day? I can't remember it if it did. When he says "record" perhaps Trevor Horn is referring to a single track? I can't believe he means a whole album. Now if it was 4 years to make a BF album I could believe that...... |
