Post subject:  Bryan's muse

Bit gossipy I know but I must admit to often thinking recently, after all these years flaunting one beauty or another on his arm, if Bryan has finally given up on love? Did the Amanda breakup and all the accompanying negative publicity knock the stuffing out of him and has he resigned himself to ending his life alone in the way that most of his lyrics seemed to suggest was inevitable? Slightly tragic if that is the case but also in many ways understanable. Or is it possible that Bryan is hiding a secret muse away from the glare of the publicity that marred his last two realationship? That too would be understandable but is definitely the less likely of the two possibilities.

...But there’s no sense in pretending
I know I’ll never fall in love again...

"But even angels there
Made the same mistakes in love
In love, in love, in love, in love"

or, in other words

“The rain could turn to gold and still your thirst would not be slaked. Desire is unquenchable or it ends in tears, even in heaven.”

― Gautama Buddha, The Dhammapada

If I remember correctly he's also visiting a tribe in the Congo in his invisible airplane every night ;-)
