I had seen where Bryan Ferry had played in Austin, Texas at the Moody Theater (the same theater where the show Austin City Limits is filmed), a PBS concert television series. Was that filmed for the Austin City Limits for showing on TV in the fall?

I was hoping for that too. I checked the schedule and I noticed the week before the Pretenders were playing and it said (TV filming) but not for anything else on the schedule, Bryan included. So I don't expect to see him on Austin City Limits. It's a shame because they have all the equipment in place. The same for Montreax they film everybody and only release snippets. Like "Black to Black" and "This Island Earth" from the AEWBF tour. Like to see the whole show. ACL would probably just broadcast the hits anyway and leave the gems on the cutting room floor.

True , usually only the hits are played. But earlier in the year ACL had Iggy Pop, which was really a good show , I thought the sound was much better than the DVD of that tour that was released. Occasionally there would songs that were not aired on you tube that I found on You tube. Now they would probably would air mostly the Roxy Music material , in which Bryan's current tour's material is composed of ....
