I wondered if anyone could help?
One of my favourite BF interviews appeared many years ago (20 to 25?) in one of the quality papers. Perhaps the Saturday Independent?. The journalist took BF out to dinner. From memory, which does play tricks, he said that BF was in a skittish mood and used a few little Englandisms such as "it made me feel really rather cheery". BF was also interested in some of the women in the restaurant (shock!). Does it ring any bells? Did anyone happen to keep it?

Many thanks!

It does ring a bell, but I don't have it. Roxy is usually the archivist on such things.

As you say, the memory plays tricks, but, if mine is correct, Bryan commented on a fellow diner, a model turned actress, saying she had put on weight and "looked much better for it." I think she was with a rock singer, it may have been the late INXS guy, and they subsequently came over and joined Bryan's table.

Wasn't there a film with 3 lead actresses/models called "Sirens" or something similar?

Just checked and it's from The Sunday Times Magazine 4th Sep 1994 w/Ferry on the cover. The restaurant is Cibo and his fellow diners are Michael Hutchence and Helena Christianson. An entertaining article that shows its age by BF constantly querying to himself why HC needs to be on her mobile phone so much.

Edit: just checked and the article appears on this very site though am having some difficulty uploading it:

The link in question along with all other links in the memorabilia section of the site seem to be down. Is this still a work in progress John or have they suddenly stopped working? Am sure I've accessed at least some of the items on there previously.

Many thanks everyone, that's brilliant!

It'll be great if John can get the link working again (knowing he can work miracles!).

I have never re-opened that section when I re-did the site around 2010.
I ran out of time and money then and not had the time or money to get it done since but I must get round to it.

There are articles here form 1994
