I'm ashamed to admit this but I always wondered how BF developed LST from that Canned Heat song Let's Work Together. It seemed very adventurous! I didn't know that LST was actually a Wilbert Harrison 1962 song (on Youtube and very close to the BF version) and that Wilbert himself updated the song in 1969 to create the LWT work covered by Canned Heat. Simple really. |
