Perpetual Procrastinators, As we are all on repose awaiting news of our hero, W2 thought he would take the unprecedented step of using Bryan’s channel to broadcast news of a fabulous new album, namely Hunter by Anna Calvi. Calvi’s First two albums were good but with this, her third, she has knocked the ball right out of the park and produced something truly fantastic. Influences abound and the whole thing is shot through with a massive Roxy/Ferry/Scott Walker/ Ennio Morricone vibe. Brilliant stuff. There isn’t a bad track on it and ‘Swimming Pool’ is just to die for. Brian Enno has been a huge supporter of hers from the beginning but try not to hold that against her, she really is amazing and a true original. Salutations, W2 |

I’m in, Windswept has fine judgment and his cheeky endorsement of this album on this forum is unprecedented. I’ll seek out Hunter out this weekend. |
