I heard from a friend who was able to go to Hamburg, that it was well received by the audience. Bryan was in excellent mood and voice (as well as can be expected) and was also quite talkative. Before ‚you turn me on‘ he became apparently quite emotional when he explained that the song was written for his mother (?) when she unwell. The band appeared surprised by the delay before starting the song. Regarding the first song, iedhah was strong and set the bar for the rest of the concert. Maybe fab was just too short for an opener. About 2000 in the audience, many fans of course, yet mixed with tourists whose main intention it was to see the new concert hall. Good luck to Bryan for the rest of the tour. |

Hi Bill, Roxy Music ‚to turn you on‘ from the Avalon album. Apparently, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. |

Got it. Cheers, mate. I didn’t know that it was written about his mum. |
