Hello all: new entries on 'These Foolish Things' - Ferry completes his first solo album before the quick turnaround recording Roxy's masterpiece 'Stranded'.
https://roxymusicsongs.com/
Also includes a contemporary New Musical Express review of the Royal Albert Hall concert - a set-list that includes a great majority of the 'Foolish Things' album. Enjoy!
Cheers, Kevin

Kevin,
This just keeps getting better and better.
As a one time staunch NME and Melody Maker reader I’ve dipped in and out of the music press over the years and have supplemented my intake with multiple other journals and biographies. That said, I have never come across such an astutely observed piece of work before.
OK, you have the advantage insomuch as your study is one of the true great artists of our time and that must make for a labor of love like no other. The way you capture the essence of his creativity and the zeitgeist of his individual projects, is truly impressive by any standard and is a sheer entertainment.
Your pieces are perfect companions to the albums.
As a life long Ferry fan I am so grateful that you are using your own talent in this way and wish you God speed with the book !
Salutations,
Windswept.

Cher roxymusicsongs!
This morning I took time to read your articles. Impressive how much work and effort you have put into this project. I fully share the opinion with the great W2 that it eventuallly should lead to a book. This kind of writing is much better to read from a proper book than on the internet. Hope I´m not the only dinosaur out there. Also, your illustrations are fabulous. Bon chance et salutations!

Cher Kevin, The ever tasteful ‘Oberon’ is correct - the visuals and their use is outstanding. This could lead to the perfect ‘Coffee Table’ piece. Salutations, W2

Windswept, Oberon - thank you very much for your kind words about the writing and the content. It's a wonderful experience do this blog - I've been a life-long fan, deep and committed - but even I'm taken aback at the surprises Bryan Ferry's writing offers. There hasn't been one entry when I haven't been surprised at the brilliance of the man.
Thank you, please keep reading. For me 'Stranded' is a pinnacle and I cannot wait to discover her secrets (again, again).
Spring is in the air and BF's new set-list is sounding like a new lease on life Au Revoir, Kevin
