Okay, you all know my feelings about The Emperor's usurper, but just ordered it on Amazon. Ain't expecting Dexter Gordon, but promise to give it a fair listen. I think you'll be disappointed, if you're expecting much saxophone, Stabbs; it's more electro or ambient in style (might make a good film soundtrack...) and Jorja plays keyboards in the main. |

Very disappointed, nothing new here. Eno Ambient 1-4/'Another Green World'/'Low'/'Heroes'/Tangerine Dream 'Rubycon'/DAF/the demo I made with two mates, a mono Davolisynth, a cheap sequencer and a rickety piano in a bedroom in Kent c.1980! I'm going back to King Curtis and Dexter Gordon. |
