I have only just seen Shameless and Song to the Siren performed live on Later with Jools Holland and I am surprised that the board hasn't been alive with how well this played live. I thought his voice held up well and a good combination with female voices. I think its a pity that You Can Dance has dominated the TV shows. I know little about how these things are done but i guess the strings and other instruments come through some kind of backing track? Did others feel that these played better live than they might have expected? |
